Permanent solution for SyncMaster 2433BW problem

Hi all,

Since I purchased an Samsung SyncMaster 2433BW I keep getting error messages, that is:

Not Optimum Mode
1920x1600 60Hz

The problem:
I have this set. It is some kind of software fault, but there are no drivers availible.
What can I do best?

What cable are you using to connect the display? You need to set resolution to 1920x1200 as that's the only resolution your monitor supports. Not 1920x1600.
