Installation of graphic card

Hi,
Can i install the AMD RADEON HD 6450 on my system.....
my PC configurations are-
*Intel D101GGC motherboard.
*Intel p4 , 3.20 Ghz processor.
*It also have a PC X16 graphic connector.

If AMD RADEON HD 6450 will not work on my system,then please suggest me some other ATI or NVIDIA HD graphic cards.My price range is Rs 2000 to Rs 3000.

Now I know this will sound harsh but it's the truth: buy a new system.It will be a total waste of money to get a new GPU while having both that motherboard and CPU.

im guessing he doesnt have the cash for that or he wouldnt be using a p4

what is the videocard it would be replacing?
do u know what kind of power supply you have? how many watts?

the 6450 will work but your pc is really old as the other posters said.
