Looking at buying a new case. Reccomendations?

So I'm looking at getting a new case, ideally in the sub £100 range. My preferred retailers are amazon and overclockers but if there's a great deal somewhere else then that's fine.

I'm looking at upgrading my system with a MSI 7950 Twin Frozer III and eventually a 3750K (or haswell equivalent) with a Corsair H100.

So..

- The case must have room for a dual 120mm rad (to fit the H100
- Ideally have a window
- If it has a window I would like it to have enough airflow to adaquetly cool my graphics card without having a side fan that blocks the window.
- USB 3.0
- Look nice :D

Thank you :D

More about looking buying case reccomendations
  1. dont bother with cheap watercooling. go full out with a custom loop or get a proper heatsink like the noctua nh-d14. the d14 cools about as well but much much quieter

as for a case, id suggest this. there is a windowed version if you would like but i cant find it in the UK

  2. The noise really isn't an issue for me, and i really dont like the looks of the NH-D14, I've pretty much decided on the H100
  3. well the h100 at full load would be a jet engines worth of noise. add after market fans and i can get a custom loop that would perform a hell of a lot better

do not listen to trolls :D

if you would like the H100 then get it.
    its you're choice.

and i get the point of the noctua ( feel the same way with you about the size ; its lika a bomb.. lol )

case : Corsair 650D / CM Storm Stryker.
  5. Also the noise wasnt a issue for me neither.
  6. the 650D case is pretty loud and collects a ton of dust due to how the fans are arranged. i can hear it across the room and when i watched a movie at my friends house, it was pretty distracting and he was using a passive d14.

i heard none problems about it.

the only things i heard about it were the noisy front 200MM & TOP 200MM but since alot of people change the front fans there aren't any isseus.. plus most of them have a H100 at the top of it x2 120MM so nope.
  8. Its a solid suggestion, absolutely love the case but its a little out of my price range....is there anything similer to it for cheaper?

If that really is the only option i guess it would be worth it.

Thanks for all your advice DWAIGHT

  10. the h100 fans are jet engines. add new fans to a h100 and i can get a custom loop
  11. I am looking at the R4. but the only problem I can see is a possible overheating issue? I use the stock Intel cooler (Yes I know.......) and with all the padding I was worried that my temps might get a bit high?
  12. nope. its temps are the same as a regular mid tower. very good and efficient cooling
  13. it wont be as good as the HAF cases but is like 1-3c max away from them
  14. Sounds good then,

It will be on my purchase list.

    Yay for new cases!
