Been using it a while, having difficulty quantifying its performance with my lack of knowledge (plus it seems impossible to find any benchmarks on my CPU). It seems everybody in the world has a i5 2500K, so I'll compare to that.
Running a 7950, is there any appreciable performance difference between using a 2320 and 2500K in the majority of games? Because everyone always says a GPU is 10x more important, but looking through some game performance tests with different CPU's some of the FPS differences are bigger than I expected on some of the CPU heavy games.
Also, importance of PCIe 3.0 over 2.0 with my setup? I don't know if my mobo supports 3.0 since it just seems like some generic cheapo Lenovo board.
More about2320 performance
It's just the 2500K, but clocked lower, and it can't overclock. Not a big difference. Only the Ivy Bridge motherboards support PCIe 3.0, but the difference between 2.0 and 30.0 is so minimal. The performance gains are about 5%.
