I am configureing a multiple router network behind a DSL Modem. I have the modem set to bridged, and a central router connected from the wan port of the router into the modem. This router is configured to PPPOE and successfully connects to the internet. I have then plugged two other routers, (all routers are Linksys) into two of the first routers LAN ports. The SSIDs are the same for all three routers, and I have disabled security until I can get the entire network up. Both of these routers are configured to DHCP, but I am unable to connect wirelessly from those routers. PLEASE HELP!!

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

I think you need switches after the first router and not further routers.

Alternatively, let the first one handle all your wireless requirements with the help of APs, so set those Linksys routers to AP mode and you should be OK.

I have a Linksys WRT54G and a 120N-- how do I set them to AP mode? I am getting conflicting information across the web! THANK YOU!!
