Which ati models to have a crossfire with my 3870

Hi Guys

I have a sapphire readon 3870 512MB and i wanna make cross fire with another ati readon cards

at the moment which should i get the same sapphire card but with 3870 x2 1gb
or
any ati readon like 4780 with DDR5

i gus wana get good result for 3dmax and gaming performance .

The 4780 is generations old..will you consider the newer series like 6xxx or 7xxx?

are you sure ots not the HD4870 youre talking about?

you can't crossfire the 3870 with a 4780 as far as I know and I have no idea about crossfiring with the 3870 x2 and how well that will work as theres a good chance you won't get much improvement.
