Hi guys this is my first time posting on this website and i would like some advice on a pc i would like to build i would like this pc for the standard things such as web browsing but i would like this pc to be able to do a bit of light gaming not anything like crysis on 1900x1200 on max setting but anything fathomable by this build.

So the parts list yes i know this is probaly scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of sheer performance but as i am constrained to a budget of £250-£300 i am not expecting anything ground breaking i am building this with upgrading in the future in mind when i come across more funding for this project but yeah here you go

Motherboard: Asus M5A78L Motherboard i chose this as it is a full ATX motherboard as it has a turbo key meaning an easy oveclocking experience with not much risk i know i'll need a much better cooler for that purpose but you know that is for later. Link to the amzon page:

Processor: AMD Athlon 2 x2 250 this processor is very cheap which is why i chose it also it is on the AM3 platform meaning i can upgrade to a black edition processor in the future such as the 950 quad core.

RAM: Gskill Ripjaws 1333mhz 4gb great brand 4gigs which is all i will probaly need and i love the way that the RAM looks.

Power supply: Corsair builder series 500cx very cheap and has the great corsair brand name that everyone loves.

Graphics card: Gigabyte Nvidia GT440 1gb i know it's not that good but it's good enough for now.

Ok so thats he part list if theres something missing its probaly because i am undecided on it yet or i've already got it i bet your thinking to yourself that this is the worst build you've ever seen i know but what i really want is for some of you to give your own experiences and your own take on the parts with compromises that i could make to get the most out of my money also i would like all the parts to come fro amazon but i dont mind aslong as the website is trustworthy

Thanks for reading the whole thing if you did otherwise thanks for taking a gander/skiming over it and going off it because it was too long but anyway thanks

This RAM is slightly cheaper and faster, you might as well get it:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/G-Skill-Ripjaws-DDR3-1333-Dual/dp/B004I3PNMU/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&m=A2LTX8DD0KPGSH&qid=1339267965&s=generic&sr=1-6

Other than that, the build looks good, though you will certainly not be maxing out any games on it.

This graphics card costs about the same but is ~10% faster, if you do some searching, you may be able to find a 1GB version for not much more money.
