Asus/MSI cards are the best

Asrock Z77 mobos have more SATA ports usually for the same price

Corsair vengeance memory

PSU is great, a tx650 would be fine. DONT GET XFX LOL

A samsung SSD? Crucial, corsair?

you probably dont know that xfx stuff is made by seasonic which makes all of corsair's high end psu s (ax series). vengeance doesnt fit nicely with heatsinks and the low profile stuff is pretty expensive. just saying, samsung is just as good as crucial if not better. their stuff is VERY high quality

The modular one you suggested is only like $10 cheaper than the Corsair one, do you think the Corsair would hold up longer? Is the Storm Trooper a good case?

the 2 power supplies are about the same. im just giving out another option for you to chose from. if you like the warranty that corsair has, go for it. if you like the looks of the xfx one, get it.

personally i have never seen a storm trooper in person but have heard that it has awesome build quailty. i personally wont get it though since it is pretty big. the haf xm is another option

A system with a single GTX 670 needs a 500w power supply as recommended by Nvidia. That assumes a generic power supply.

If you plan on adding a second GTX 670 in Sli then you would need a 750w power supply.

Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Silverstone, Enermax, OCZ and Antec are all quality brands.

If you don't plan on adding a second graphics card then you could do worse than either of these.

If you want to keep the price lower then all these are great just not 80+ Gold or Platinum.

The 80+ certification is only a measure of efficiency not quality.

The HX750W is an excellent PSU. It is rated for 750W of continuous power at 50 degrees celcius. I would say even though the specs of the HX750W are similar to XFX psus, the HX750W will be slightly superior due to the fact that Corsair is willing to provide a 7 year warranty vs. the 5 year warranty of the XFX units. Both are good units however, and you can't go wrong with either one.

you are good to go. for the case, just get the xm. there isnt much point of getting a full tower case when you dont use all the space inside. but then again if you want to do something extreme later on, you have space for 4 way SLI
