Hey planning on building a gaming rig I just wanted to hear your views on the parts I have selected. Nothing has been bought as of yet so your recommendations are highly welcome I am hoping this rig will perform to a high standard so here are the parts:

-Intel Sandybridge i7-2600k

-Intel Burrage LGA1155 motherboard

-Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 TI DirectCu II
TOP graphics card (2gb, gddr5, mini hdmi, 2x dvi-i, sli, (Overclocked on arrival) )

-XFX PRO Core PSU -750w-

-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler

your thoughts are appreciated.

downgrade the i7-2600k to an i5-2500k, put rest of money into gpu. you also dont need 750w psu unless you plan to sli/crossfire

No there is no difference between i5 2500k and i7 2600k in gaming. Drop down to I5 2500k, drop the PSU down to XFX 550W and get GTX 670.

Ok if theres not much difference I think ill still keep the i7 then, but on the gpu side iv found 2 gtx 670's

-Palit Nvidia GeForce gtx 670

-Asus Nvidia Geforce gtx 670

Only difference is that the Palit one is £70.00 cheaper but on paper the specs look the same?

If you can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance.

Palit is a lesser brand than ASUS, hence the quality is not up there along with ASUS. That is the only difference. Lots of people got Palit and they are fine, so maybe you can google more Palit video card to see if they have any complains, how the company honors RMA and warranty... things like that.
