Approximate Purchase Date: The sooner the better.

Budget Range: $300 before rebates and not a cent over! But in my heart, I really want it to be cheaper, even cheaper than is now at 209$, that way I can buy more PENUTS!!!!!! In fact I'd like the cheapest computer possible!! :bounce:  :bounce:  BUT THAT CAN STILL GET 'COMFORTABLE SWTOR GAMEPLAY EVEN AT THE MOST INTENSE AREAS OF THE GAME!!  :non:

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Exclusively for Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR). This PC won't even have firewall, antivirus, or windows updates. Just the drivers for the hardware and SWTOR. JK I'm being sarcastic. Oooor am I...? :ange:

Parts Not Required: Hard Drive (100GB SATA from laptop), NIC (USB Wireless-G), WIndows 7 Home Premium, ( I have a beautiful chassis but, with no risers or instructions should I be scared about that? Cause I am, maybe a CASE recommendation is actually in order for this build after all. Won't need Chitin Armor, republic blaster, or light saber w/ krayt dragon pearl either.... that's the easy stuff...  )

Preferred Websites for Parts: newegg.com and amazon.com

Country: United States of America :bounce:

Parts Preferences: None

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1280x1024 Is what I have in mind.

Additional Comments: I want the PC to play SWTOR, not rape it! :non:  However that does not mean the PC should be 'bordering SWTOR unplayability" either. I want this build to 'comfortably' handle the most intense demands SWTOR can throw at it, please.

If you know so much then really go FXCKEN learn how to build a computer. Why do you need constructive criticism? Not enough excitement in your life? We don't win and why would anyone want you to. Gotta love rednecks when they come on here posting.

Its ok I reported him on the other thread after he called everyone n*******. So most likely he'll get his account deleted and then take it out on his Mom. What an absolute ass.

Then do as everyone said and get an i3-2100, as at that low of a resolution even a 6450 can max swtor out. An i3 helps a lot with FPS during large battles and also future-proofs you a bit longer. Swtor is more CPU intensive anyway, and IMO it is worth the extra $70 to get the i3.

Also, I agree with everyone else, you really need to grow up before posting on here, your attitude is very detrimental to getting any kind of "help" which you apparently don't need.

ok. that WILL play SWTOR, at low-mid settings, but It will play it.

if you're willing to push just a little higher on price, I'll suggest the $10 more Corsair CX 430W, its 80+ certified and far, far more reliable than CoolMax or LEPA PSUs

get the Rosewill R218 case for $30, and get the XFX HD 7750 for an extra $50. this brings you up to $299, but you have a case, a stronger gpu, and a better quality power supply

I know.

sqrl, the 7750 isn't really needed as his resolution is too low to use the extra graphics power anyway.

He may not answer anymore since his little diatribe may have earned him a suspension or deletion, tough luck kid.

maybe, maybe not. I had a 1999 CRT that was 1600x1200, which a 6670 will struggle to push.
