Which is the best Amd cpu at the moment ?

I do a lot of multitasking. Many applications loaded up for majority of the time. And so I think core i3 would not be ideal for me. No gaming really, only browsing and some other applications - but really cant settle for a dual core for the many appls opened.

So which is the best 4core or 6core amd cpu I can get for multitasking.

I have gone through all amd lineups - and have thought that trinity would be the one to get - as against other popular 965 BE AND PHENOM2 X6 1055T (the similar or bit lower priced) - why not spend $10-$30 more and get A10 for $125 - which gives apu too.

So A10 ($125) or 965BE (4CORE) ($95) or PHENOM2 X6 1055T (6CORE) ($110) or 6core FX6100. What's best at the moment in AMD ?

And apart from that Is trinity A10-5800K builtin gpu is as good as the radeon 6850 ?

Or if not - then what radeon / nvidia GPU it is as good as ?

For many apps loaded, you need ram more than cores... It's not like 1 app takes control of a cpu core.

No games. A10 is fine. the gpu is no where near a 6850 but if you don't game it won't matter.

The absolute best AMD has to offer right now is the Phenom II X6 1100T or FX-8150, but any of those you listed will do for what you want to do.

And an i3 would be just fine, believe it or not. You don't need a quad/six/eight core for web surfing with other things open in the background. Not at all.

Also, no the A10's iGPU is not as good as a 6850. It's roughly equivalent to a 6670.

In any case, out of the CPU's that you mentioned, my choice would be the 965BE.

What about this -
http://download.cnet.com/8301-2007_4-57521062-12/bluest...
Which is not just for win8 but for existing windows 7 too - but not for intel cpus though, only amd.

Also I guess these apps will be ONLY available to amd fusion cpus (trinity).

See -

http://blog.genie9.com/index.php/2012/10/01/amd-launche...

"The new partnership gives immediate advantage to AMD devices that are running on Intel processors.
Intel-based PCs will not be as fortunate; receiving only around 2,000 apps through the Windows 8 Store at launch."

"The new Windows 8 PCs and tablets are not the only ones receiving the revamp; existing Windows 7 PCs that are equipped with AMD hardware."
I doubt these apps can be available to older amd cpus too like athlon X4 630 eg.

..

So the main question is -

SO is there any way of getting those huge no of apps on - the 965 BE (or any previous released amd as X4 630 too ) or intel core i3 ? or just trinity ONLY. Or on trinity laptop too.

If I can use those apps on an old amd or amd laptop or MUCH BETTER INTEL CPU - it would have made a difference.
