Suggest PSU for the Following configuaration:

i5 2500k

as rock z77 pro 3

crossair vengence 4gb 1600speed

asus nvidia GTX 550ti 1GB

segate hdd 2TB 7200rpm

cooler master k100 cabinet

samsung DVD RW drive

planning on 1 mid range cpu cooler fan and 2 cabinet fans

I m thinking of 400w PSU

PLEASE suggest wattage for PSU and any model and make of PSU.

also suggest any improvements that can be made without increasing budget.

I would go to the new build section and post your budget as if that build is for gaming its just all wrong.

1 - Why the Sandybridge 2500k with a Z77 board, either get a 3570k and that board, or save some money and get a z68 or p67 board to go with the 2500k.

2 - Games are largely GPU bound if your gaming using that 550ti you will get bad performance. You would get better performance with a cheaper CPU and a much better Graphics Card.

To answer though I would get any good brand (xfx,seasonic, corsair, ocz, antec) PSU over 450W with a single 6 pin for the 550ti.

thanks for the suggestion but i m getting this motherboard for further upgrade to i7 2600k and gtx 580 ti in future.

now my other question is if i dont concentrate on future upgrade ca i use the intel dh67bl motherboard and if possible upgrade it with gtx 560 ti

i live in india according to my currency budget comes to INR 47000. My point for budget was that the price at which the above system comes for in your currency.
