Need Help Building a New System

Purchase Date: Within the next 15 Days
Budget Range: $ 600 - 650 (not taking in account of keyboard, mouse, monitors)
System Usage: Programming/development, Run multiple virtual machines, watching HD movies
Country: USA
Parts Preference: Hoping to hook up (2 x 23” AOC led monitor) or Any other brand (but 23” is the fix for me)
Over clocking: No (Since I don't play games)
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Operating System: Linux (Ubuntu / Fedora) running Gnome 3 or other KDE 4 ( I go from using KDE to fluxbox to Xfce)
Expectations: A System that runs quietly, doesn't heat up a lot.
Comments: I would like someone to review my psuedo build, before I actually buy the parts and start building it myself. Given my purposes, I would like some to suggest me a video card or select one from the list I have posted. I also wish to get the most out of every buck I spend. Please, let me know If I have gone overboard with the system specs. Reviewers please address the heating issue, if there's any; as I would really like a cool and silent system.

More about need building system
  1. MMm, i would Rather go With Intel the pentium cpus are more friendly with heat.

everything is okey i suggest you looking at the Gt 440 instead of those 2.
  2. By the way, theres a forum dedicated to Ubuntu ,

you could get more information posting on that forum.
  3. As far as the heating does, would it help if i got a better heatsink and not the stock heatsink that comes with the cpu.
