Hello,
My son wants to put the Minecraft game on my PC. Minecraft requires the following:
•CPU : Intel P4/NetBurst Architecture or its AMD Equivalent (AMD K7)
•RAM : 2GB
•GPU : Intel GMA 950 or AMD Equivalent
•HDD : At least 90MB for Game Core and Sound Files
•Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 or up is required to be able to run the game.

My PC has:
2.00 GB RAM
GPU: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5450 @ 1.66GHz
Java 7

Is this sufficient?
Thx

I’d like to weigh in here. Yes it will work but at very low settings.
I have a desktop that runs Minecraft a lot with my 6 year old in creative mode and me when I’m bored. I found Laptop (2yr old Dell XPS15) crafting very difficult, aka, not enjoyable. Try it, you may like it enough but I didn’t at all.

It will work, but if you buy a graphics card (Like GeForce 8400GS or higher) then it'll probably play at max settings, that's if you're running on a desktop. You won't be able to use this graphics card on a laptop. I had this graphics card and it was perfect for Minecraft! :D
