So I am looking at purchasing the Playstation 3D Display to use as my Playststion and Laptop monitor.

What I need to know is whether or not my Laptop will be able to run 3D games smoothly and what software/drivers that I would need/optimize the experience.

Here are my Laptop specs:

HP DV6-6B04tx
Intel Core i7-2670QM @ 2.20 GHz
AMD Radeon HD 6700m 2gb
4gb 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM

The games I plan on playing in 3D are:
Battlefield 3
Skyrim
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Star Wars Battlefront II
and probably more in the future.

After monitoring my fps with Battlefield 3 I managed to get 30-35fps on Low/Med with Med dropping to 28 for a split second.

Will 3D cut this in half or is that a theoretical assumption?
Also do I have to change any settings to excel past 35fps because it seemed weird that my fps didn't get higher than 35 on Low when it managed to get 35 on Medium settings as well.

I would also like to know this. I have almost the same specs on my laptop. I have a LG 42" 3D plasma and have been playing in 1080p with my PS3 and laptop. Skyrim looks great on my TV....But would PLAY better in 3D IMO.

AMD Radeon HD 6770M

Before I got a 3D TV Crysis 2 Could switch to 3d If I enabled it. (no longer have this game so can't test it) but I do have DEX:HR.. It is disabled :-(
