Current Desktop Pc Components

CASE: Lancool PC-K62 Black Case
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965
MOBA: MSI 790FX-GD70
RAM: Kingston 4GB DDR3-1333 Ram Kit
HDD: Seagate 500GB HDD (16MB Cache, 7200.12 , Sata 2, ST3500418AS)
PSU:Corsair 750W
GPU:N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC

I am getting new RAM in a few days... Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3-1600 Kit (4x4GB, PC3-12800, 9-9-9-24) and i new LED 23'inch Screen, atm i have another 23'inch screen(TFT)got it back in 2009.So i will be using 2 screens.I want to make my computer unstoppable and unlagging in games like BF3,WoW, and anything new that comes out.I want to be able to play them at ultra and have not even the slightest spike. I also ordered the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO for my current cpu, because the temp goes up to 80-90degrees and it lags like hell(after playing 2-3hours.)so i wanna check if the temp will go down with the new cpu cooler.Im not sure that it will even fit in my case/motherboard.

So,is any1 experiences enought with gaming and the stuff i need for gaming,to help me out with the upgrade i'm making? Tnx in advance The sooner i get a response the sooner i will finish my pc upgrade tyvm. :bounce:

Hi :)

What OS are you running ? 32 bit or 64 ?

Also although thats a good card (ish)i am not sure you are going to get ULTRA on all games without turning a few things off...

All the best Brett :)

Overclock it as far as you can then run it till its no good anymore your platform and CPU while still fine dont really warrant money being spent on them. The 8GB is a decent upgrade but its not going to make games perform better, the 212 cooler and an overclock may help. Like brett says full ultra on all games with no FPS drops wont happen on that rig. You should get high settings for sometime to come though.

Also that CPU would have throttled well before 90 degrees your software reading it is wrong.

Hi :)

To play ULTRA , you need a MUCH better card..think double to treble the cost of that one...the rest is ok...

All the best Brett :)

so brett you are saying that my Nvidia 570gtx that stands #7 in the top GPU in 2012 is not enought?
October 11, 2012 8:14:59 AM

the price on my 570gtx was ~400euro 5 months ago...

if i get another 570gtx oc and sli it with mine?will that make a big of a difference?

Your 570 is not enough to run BF3 at full ultra with everything maxed out with stable high frames, settle for high and your fine.

I wouldnt bother to SLi your CPU will bottleneck the cards somewhat. You have a decent machine that will run anything at or near to max settings be happy with that run it till you decide you want higher settings then replace the whole thing with whatever is current at the time.

and btw if i wanted a second screen for gaming(my current one is a 23.5inch TFT 2009 old one)so i was wondering if a 21,5 LED will be better for gaming, and the tft one for browsing and music.

See what happens with the new cooler first, if it is overheating after all.
