So I can't seem to find a case I like for a sum of money I'm happy to spend. I'm guessing this is common.
I'm thinking of just getting a Source 210 (as I've heard people are happy with the durability) and doing some mods myself.
I would like to put in an acrylic side panel (of course) and either a 200mm fan or 2 x 120 or 2 x 140's. I would also like to cut out the top panel where there is already mesh built in for 2 x 120's and have a grill . My main goal is that I'm more a fan of the look of fan grills than the metal mesh that is build into the box.
With that, I would also like the front fans to have a grill instead of the mesh frame. So here's my question. Would I be able to cut out the mesh from the front of the case and install a grill. I'm guessing I would have to take the hd bays out in order to get in there, do they pop in and out easily?
I know there is already mounts for a fan in the front, I guess my question is I can't find any good pics to see what it looks like inside but I'm wondering if there are two pieces of metal separated by a little space, or if the mesh is cut into the same piece of metal that the fan attaches too. I don't know if I'm asking my question in a way it makes sense or not but I'd love some input from anyone who's modded this case before.
