Installing a Power Supply 4 to 6 pin?

Hey there. I am installing a new Corsair CX750 and it does not have a 4 pin to go to the motherboard. Instead, it has, what the box states as: "EPS/ATX12V 4-Pin & 8-Pin Compatible.", but I can not get it to fit into the 4 Pin slot. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Looking at the pics, I can't tell if it's a 4+4 or full 8 pin connector, and I can't find anything that says which it is, but one half of either one has to fit.

Try both halves and/or try flipping around. It'll fit eventually.

It sounds like the 4+4 pin deal. I believe that PSU also has an an 8 pin for GPU's so make sure your not trying that.

That's a very good point. I didn't even think about someone trying that. But no, don't do that.
