Approximate Purchase Date: Around a month (May change later, but I'm trying to set a goal here)

Budget Range: Not much more than $1200

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Internet, Engineering School Work, Gaming

Parts Not Required: Windows

Country: Canada

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: In the future maybe

Monitor Resolution: (e.g.: 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, 1920x1200)

Haha no worries. That's an early graduation gift I'll be getting from my rents so I didn't include it.

You can save some on PSU as well, you don't need even close to 800w. Pick a PSU in the 600w range (for headroom) from Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, XFX, or Enermax.

If I want to overclock stuff, will I run into issues with those 600W supplies?

Not at all. I'm running a Core 2 Quad (who's chipset sucks more power than yours) and an HD6850 (similar power draw) on an Antec Neo Eco 400C. 600w will be plenty.
