AMD Copying Intel & Vice Versa

We all know the naming scheme of AMD's chips since the release of Llano had made people a little bit weary, especially with the "K" added at the end of the updated line of chips.

But has anyone mentioned anything about how Intel is naming their IGP's as the "HD" Series. It just clicked in my head that they are now releasing their Intel HD 4000 series which AMD already has their HD 4000 series of Chips released a few years back.

It seems everyone wants to connect whatever neurons in your brain they can to get you to buy their tech.

HD stands for "High Definition", and K stands for "unlocked"

They don't have to put that into a patent

I'm aware but for their respective chip lines to be so similar in a naming scheme, I think is more of a smart marketing move more than anything else

To be honest I don't like the A8-3870K naming scheme, BE is much better.
