Connecting speakers to my computer

Hello,
I have two speakers that I attatched to the back of the brain of my computer, but get no sound, I have checked the volume, it is not muted. Also the light on the speakers does not light up. Any advice?

Did you run power to your speakers? The light on the speakers will only light up when you have power(plugged in), and the power is on(volume control).

Can you show me a diagram of what the power cord looks like? The speakers are JBL Pro. I had to move this computer from one room to another and we don't remember what the cord looks like. A simple diagram should help us find it. Thank You, Joan
