Is hd7690m 2gb memory upgrade necessary

i want to buy a customized HP Pavilion dv6t Quad Edition laptop.i can upgrade its hd7690m graphics 1 gb to 2gb for a additional 75$.is it really worth the money.will it give considerable improvement in gaming or in other cases.please give me advice regarding this

I've actually been testing VRAM usage in games. Only certain games when paired with high-end GPU's can benefit from more than 1GB of VRAM.

But not this GPU.
