a simple peer to peer program?

Im looking for a simple peer to peer program so me and my mate can send files to each other. We have tried msn messenger but msn doesnt seem to like the files were trying to transfer (there around 10mb video files). We have also tried dc++, he can download from me but i cant download from him. Also tried irc but no luck.

We have tried with firewalls down and that dident change a thing. Thing is we can transfer small files such as images on msn messenger just not these 10mb files. Im hopeing an alternative program can sort out our problem, any suggestions?

have you tried using windows netmeeting? just find out the ip addy of the person you want to connect to, and dial. its on all versions of windows that im aware of

I have used this before. Can setup seperate accounts, access rights and such.

cheers fellas. That netmeeting did the trick, was nice to have the postal service as a back up though - cheers for the advise! Unfortunatly my isp doesnt allow its users to host their own ftp servers.
