  1. I'm guessing that you have a budget? Since you are getting the Z77 motherboard then you should also get the Ivy Bridge cpu.

    Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K
    $239.99

Only $20 more and will overclock also since it's the K model.
As your wanting to play BF3 and COD then you should get a better video card especialy with BF3. I see that you have gone with the combo real of the video card a ram , and I'm starting to think that your budget is less than $1000 which will make it hard to get a good video card.
The motherboard is towards the lower end of the list of motherboards and will not overclock as high as some of the more expensive ones but that's to be expected since you get what you pay for. Asus boards do make overclocking easy though.
I don't see a monitor listed ? Can you let us know your budget so we can see what there is to work with?
  2. $750 don't need a monitor
  3. Well if you have the extra $20 for the cpu switch then you should go ahead and do that. For $750 your not going to get much but you will get a functioning computer , just don't expect to be getting high fps and you will be playing at low settings for BF3.
The rest of your build is good enough to get you playing some games and also some experience for future builds.
  4. What video card and psu are you going with? Your other post has the GTX 480 and a Corsair 650w psu.
  5. what one should i go with?

I spent $650 on my PC and can run BF3 on the highest settings and haven't run into a game I can't play on high. His graphics card, CPU and mobo are all better than mine too. You cray!
  7. what are your specs?

$627.92 and it runs BF3 / Witcher 2 perfect on High
  9. BS. What is your monitor resolution? Is that high with no AA/AF at all?
  10. There is some info that is not listed with the pc playing BF3 on high. Are the settings on high or ultra and is AA and AF turned on or off and what is the resoultion that you are playing at also what are you getting for FPS.

    http://www.guru3d.com/article/battlefield-3-vga-and-cpu-performance-benchmark-test/8

As you can see by these benchmarks there is a difference in the fps when playing at different resolutions , so all of the info needs to be posted so a comparison can be made and then to know which parts will be good and which won't.
Elproducto is saying that his $650 computer is playing BF3 on the highest settings and it's perfect so that means he's playing on ultra with a 6870 and it's perfect? I don't think he's playing at 1920x1080 resolution.
  11. You're correct, I'm not. I apologize!
  12. Now your saying you can't run BF3 on high ?
  13. I'm not running it at 1920 x 1080
  14. Ok , the resolution does make a difference , my fps dropped when I went from a 1920x1080 to 2560x1600 monitor.
