I cant set my desktop background its automatically disappears in windows xp

Hi sir,
I had set desktop background with image.
But after restart my system the image got disappeared and solid color appears automatically.

What's the problem with my pc and what's the solution to solve this?

Sounds like your version on Windows is not activated or not "Genuine".

Right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties". Scroll down to the bottom and check to see if Windows is activated successfully.
