Hi there, ive been trying to overclock my Socket 775 Intel Core 2 Quad Q9505, And well it's a little confusing since this is my first time overclocking ive read guides and reviews and what not but i can't seem to get it stable at 3Ghz.

The Multiplier is 8.5 and FSB is 353. Im pretty sure i disabled all the features i should have and i got the Dram timings to 5-5-5-15. I have tried the CPU voltage from 1.112 to 1.3(something) and it seems like i just can't get it to be stable i sometimes boot into my OS but im in there for about 30 Seconds and then it will blue screen. Do i need to have a Dram Voltage have i done anything wrong? Also my Dram Freq is 971mhz( I think) CPU TL: 0.63 PPL1.54 FSB 1.30

What frequency is your RAM rated for? If you're overclocking the FSB, you may be overclocking your RAM as well, so you'll probably want to drop your RAM to a nice low stable frequency at first and get the CPU stable, then push the RAM up where you want it.
