How to add attributes when the program wont come up

I accidentally took away the attributes on a game, after then it would come up, my screen would change to black and white, then the program would exit and the launcher would be saying a error occurred. I uninstalled and re-installed, but the program didn't come up. the screen would do the same thing but before changing back to normal it would bring up a message saying that it had stopped working when it didn't even show up.so i would press " close program and it changed back. i have no idea how to bring it back to normal unless I wipe the computer. I'd rather not, so if there is any suggestions please tell me, it would be greatly appreciated.
