It's a nice build, but personally I'd go for something Intel unless you're working within a budget.

is intel that much different as been looking at the i7 2600 and 2700 but never had a intel system i have £1100 i have the corsair 1866 16gb already oh and the h70 any ideas on the rest if it was intel. im big at gaming and well into overclocking on amd platforms

and what is so good about intel is it that much beter than amd?

Intel is leaps and bounds better than AMD as far as gaming goes. It has been that way for a few years now and im an AMD guy.

Overclocking is great with AMD chips, but even at high clock speeds they can't compete with similarly classed Intel chips performance wise. If you can work an i5 2500k into your budget, you will be able to overclock to your hearts content, AND get much better peformance out of it than any AMD chip out there right now.

It isn't that AMD chips are bad, Intel has just taken the lead in performance for now. If you're working with a strict budget, AMD chips are great thanks to their low price points in both chip and motherboard categories, but if you're looking for the best you can get with your money, Intel is the way to go.
