No wifi connections on Desktop but there is on my laptop. WHY!?

Hello,

I have an ASUS CG5270 desktop with windows 7. The desktop says that there are no connections available; however, my laptop is connected and showing all the networks in the neighborhood. Help me please.

Is the wireless enabled on your desktop, assuming it has something to connect with?

Check Device Manager to be sure it's working.

fixed it. I opened up the computer and found that the card was not actually connected. I reconnected it and went to device manager under network adapters, wireless lan card, driver, then update driver. It works now. Thanks for the help.
