Need advice choosing the right card for my needs

Hello,

I'm about to build my first computer and aside from the usual stuff (web, email, word), the most intensive thing I'll be using this for is motion graphics and video editing . I'm not a gamer so this will never be used for that purpose. With so many video cards out there I can't figure out what my needs are for my intended purposes as I can't decipher all the technical jargon surrounding graphics cards. So any help and or suggestions would be appreciated.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: this week

BUDGET RANGE: under $250 After Rebates

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: motion graphics and video editing. This will never be used for gaming

Thanks for your reply. After reading the review I'm not so sure this is the card for me. It's great on static renders but intensive renders in, let say, in an application like After Effects or Cinema 4D it may not be up to the task.

I think you need to either get a GTX 560 ti 448 core or 570, there really isnt much unless you SLI. Video Rendering takes some power to do.
