More about first build
  1. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/768-shader-pitcairn-review,3196-7.html

According to this article, the Radeon 6850 can average 38.20 fps in Battlefield 3 on high with a 1920x1080 resolution (note that fps is also dependent on the resolution so the lower your resolution is the higher the fps will be).

I'm not familiar with AMD CPU's. However, people here recommend switching that AMD FX 4100 to this CPU instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727.
  2. pay a little more for a 6870. it can actually play bf3 on hgih/ultra settings resonably well
  3. I don't see a CPU cooler in your parts list. You'll need that for overclocking.

You won't see a lotta love for the FX-4100 around here. It's a quad core that games like a dual core CPU.
  4. hyper 212 evo will do the job
  5. Ahh thank you everyone, I do have a CPU Cooler, I guess I just forgot to wrote it down, lol. So will this last atleast 2 years?
  6. yep but it wouldnt last more than 5
  7. Okay thank you so much.
