New Build - Compatibility Check!

Hey guys im a first time PC builder and wanted to check the compatibility of the following parts:


Case: Thermaltake VN450A1W2A Commander MS-I USB3.0 Mid Tower Case w/500W. PSU

Motherboard: ASUS P8H61V3 DDR3 Intel 1155pin Motherboard

RAM: G.Skill Sniper 8G Kit(4Gx2) DDR3 1333 F3-10666CL9D-8GBSR

Graphics: GIGABYTE 1GB GTX 550 Ti PCI-E VGA Card

HDD: Seagate 3.5" Barracuda 500GB ST500DM002 SATA3 7200RPM 16MB HDD

CPU: Intel Core i5-2320 3.0Ghz 1155pin Boxed CPU

OS: Microsoft MS Windows 7 Pro 64bit OEM


Also if you could recomend better/cheaper parts that woul be great.
BTW this is for a basic gaming pc but i will still use it for work aswell

1: get a i5 3450 and a h7-v motherboard
2:get a 6850 or 6870 as it is close to the price of a 550ti but performs much better
3:there are cheaper ram options such as gskill ripjaws or mushkin blackline
