hi! i recently bought a "cooler master notepal l1" for keeping my gpu and cpu temperatures lower for my "asus k53sm-sx010d", but found no effective cooling. my system reaches reaches a whooping 77 degrees while playing crysis 2 for sometime. I am very concerned for my lappy. I can't figure why the cooling pad isn't working.

Is the cooling pad blowing air on any intake fans for your laptop? If not, then it might not help much.

What are your ambient local temps when you're using the cooling pad?

i live in a hot area with temperatures rising to a scorching 45 degree c and the room temperature reaching nearly 36 degrees[without air conditioning].

A cooling pad is only good for a small change in cooling performance.
Like, keeping a hot notebook off your lap. It's not going to be a huge help if you're room temps are 36C.
