I havent picked a case yet... but here are the parts im looking at.

My biggest question is should i get a better graphics card. I will game, video edit, photo edit, and watch movies and stuff.

im open to suggestions and would appreciate it if you pointed out anything that is not compatible

Instead of the gtx 570, I would get the Radeon 7850. Performance is similar but it consumes less power, produces less heat and is cheaper.

How much editing will you be doing? If a lot, I would get an i7 3770k instead.

The Corsair Tx 750 would be more than enough to run your system + xFire'd 7850's. If you don't plan to run dual cards however, just get a 550W PSU.

The rest of your parts looks good. Just out of curiosity, what is that Leap Frog listed as $70. The only thing that comes to mind is that kids toy. lol

Wow! That does look cool. It will be hard to play hours of FPS on that thing though. lol. You can only lift your arms for so long.

Haha, i dont think ill use it for a ton of FPS for that exact reason but its still a really awesome addon that wont break the bank - even adds a really unique twist to your pc

If you're going to overclock, I'd water cool the CPU. I've read a lot of articles saying that's the best way to go.

how much more is water cooling? and that is something that worries me because liquid + computer = disaster

I'm going to be using the same CPU as you and I went with the antec kuhler H20 620 which goes for 69.99 free shipping on newegg.

Only comes with one fan but you can actually put two on it for a push pull air flow on the rad, also comes pre-filled.

As long as you don't OC too much, water cooling is pretty much unnecessary. The Cooler Master CPU fan you have will keep your CPU temps within the safe zone without problems.

Tip for OC'ing that Ivy Bridge. Ivy Bridge gets really hot really fast once you add more voltage (even adding 0.1 V will significantly impact heat). As long as you don't add voltage, then the CM fan will be fine. How fast can you get it to without adding voltage? People have successfully reached 4.2 GHz. That is a rough equivalent of the i5 2500k running at 4.5 GHz.

ok so that 4.2 is turbo boost? And since i do plan to OC im kinda considering it but i feel that since when i do OC it wont be a ton i wont need the water cooling.

No, the 4.2 is OC with no voltage added. The 3.8 is the turbo boost

If you go over the 4.2 you have to add voltage which then adds heat. Specially with ivy bridge

Are you looking for a mid size case or full case? I went with the antec 1200 v3 and couldn't be happier, it's huge.

yea i think ill be fine with just an aftermarket fan and down the road i can always upgrade to water if temps get out of control

Definitely just keep an eye on temps when you're on full load. You can't go wrong with that antec case, all wires go behind the mobo has enough room to run quad sli and all the fans have speed controls
