Im on a little budget so i was looking at an Intel i5 2320 and the I5 3330. my budget is under 200$ and i would be minor gaming and minor video editing. for my computer i wont have a GPU till i get more money but which one would be better for playing minecraft with their built in graphics?

Solution
the 3330 would give better graphics, but it's still near the bottom of the barrel. if you get another $30 for a i5-3570K you would see a drastic improvement until you get a real GPU

I5 3330 is Ivybridge so it would probablyhave HD4000 graphics (sorry i can't check cause i'm at work and our net is restircted) which is several tiers higher than HD3000 that Sandybridge used. However, you'd probably be further ahead getting a cheap discrete graphics card like a 7750 and a lower end proc like a G2120. That would cost ~$210 without sales. This would be a much better build for gaming but your video editing would probably suffer since the proc is only dual-core

The 3570k is an excellent processor. I have one and I'm using the HD4000 graphics while I save for a discrete card. It runs wow at all fair settings with view distance set to high at around 35 fps

Most Sandy Bridge chips have HD2000 while most Ivy Bridge chips have HD2500. I do not remember any chip below the i5-3570k other than the i3-3225 having HD4000 graphics.

While IB's HD2500/4000 are 2-3X as fast as SB's HD2000/3500, you are correct that neither poses much of a threat even for low-end discrete graphics like the Radeon 7650.

thanks for the correction. I couldn't remember which proc had what off the top of my head! I just knew that my 3570k had the HD4000 and that the sandy bridge procs had much lower end integrated
:p
