Looking to upgrade Asus Cm1630 processor

Would preferably be bought to arrive around christmas, i am looking for something under 150$. i am looking to upgrade to at least 3.0Ghz or over the standard 3.8Ghz. The reason for this upgrade is that i would like to run games at higher, well, almost everything. i have a non stock AMD 6450 1GB edition
graphics card but if it is possible to receive more speedwithout changing the card, that would be optimal.

What are your current specs of the machine? I mean everything - current CPU, RAM, PSU...

Also, depending on your CPU, you'll have a better luck of getting a gaming performance boost upgrading your GPU instead of your processor.
