Hi,

well i been creating my spec and i am almost done (thanks to everyone in these forums) but could use a bit more help.

so far the build is

Intel® Core™ i3-2100 Processor
Intel® Desktop Board DH67CL
[ Ripjaws ] F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL (4Gx1) x2
HardDisk 500GB
Samsung DVD Writer (SATA)
EVGA GT430 1GB

and i also picked a power supply till i found out that all the cases i have narrowed down to gives a "Real Wattage of 600W" so just have to pick my case.

These are the one i narrowed it down to

Rs-9 : - $106
http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.php/products/31-pgsr/12-rs9

X-Warrior-RED : - $106
http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.php/products/chassis/30-pgsv/126-xwarriorr

Vx-R Battle/LE : - $110
http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.php/products/30-pgsv/17-vx-rle

Rs-4 w/X : - $125
http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.php/products/chassis/31-pgsr/113-rs4

Syclone II-RED : - $129
http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.php/products/31-pgsr/99-syclone2r

Bx-500 Evil Black Edition : - $140 (though i included this i think its 10 fans is a bit excessive because i am not hard core gamer)
http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.php/products/28-pgsb/1-bx500-evil-black

Keep in mind i am trying to make a budget pc so try and tell the best for both price and quality

Also if possible could someone tell me what can i do with my extra fans if the case i choose does not have a inbuilt fan control

I'd start by asking why you're spending so much on a case and so little on a CPU and video card.

You could consider a CoolerMaster HAF 912 or Elite 430, both are great cases and far cheaper than those you're looking at. Personally, I lean more towards the Elite 430 as one thing I don't like about CoolerMaster cases is sometimes they cut corners and don't do finishing on the inside and outside of the case (The HAF 912 is bare white metal on the inside) The Elite 430 is fully finished inside and out. That really has no bearing on quality, its just a personal pet peeve of mine.

i cant upgrade the CPU cause an I5 would take a lot of the budget. The video card i haven't completely decided may change that. And the next cheapest option for the casing is a IN WIN J649 for $72

(there are other shops with better casing and some more variety but i am buying the rest of the parts from this shop so i am trying to include this as well to make it easier to repair in the future if anything breaks)

Also the case i picked had no unfinished parts in them according to the pictures

I honestly would take a Phenom II 965 over an i3. But thats up to you, I'm not sure where you're from and if they are available in your area. Yes, I agree Intel has far too big of a price gap between their dual cores and quads. For a gaming rig, the i3 will get everything done for you except its not going to do so hot in Battlefield Multiplayer, but then again, neither is a GT430, so I guess the point is moot.

As far as the video card? Is this a gaming rig? the 430 is a pathetically weak video card. Bare minimum, I'd be looking at one of the following:

GTX 460 (they're fairly cheap now due to being an older generation)
GTX 550 TI (not quite as good as the 460, but respectable)

Radeon 6850, 6870s

Ideally, a 6950 or a 7850.

As far as the case you're talking about:

If thats the one, it doesn't look too bad, but definitely if you're on a tight budget, be looking to spend less money on a flashy case and more on the "Guts" of the actual system.

Also, if you're looking for a case that comes with a power supply, I wouldn't do that. Just because it has high wattage doesnt make it a quality power supply. Most power supplies that come bundled with cases are JUNK.

maybe you should go with a amd system so save some money

well i actually went searching for a AMD processors (the exact one u said :D) first but i went to every store i saw and only a hand full even knows what it is (ya i know its sad) and none of them have it. Since i may go abroad to visit my sister i am going to check for AMD there and the price range.

I will look for that but honestly i wont be going for any high end games so depending on price i may or may not buy them

ya thats the one, it doesn't look that bad but isn't the ventilation a bit bad which was why i thought of getting a better one.
