AX1200 won't turn on for more that 3 secs at a time

I just got a new Corsair ax1200 PSU for my PC.I tested it with the paper clip and it worked fine but then I plugged it into my MB. I have an Intel i-7 960 and a MSI lightning on my MB wich is a gigabyte G1 assassin. When I tried to turn it on everything went on (Fans, LEDs ,ect) and shut off. Then turned back on. Then back off. It does that for as long as the PSU is on. I tried unplugging the PCU from the PSU and it started working without shutting off every 5 secs. Is this a problem with my MB, PSU or PCU? Please help!

You may have to RMA it back to Corsair or you're paper clip could have messed something up. Try to troubleshoot everything and try parts on a different psu and see if its the parts not just the psu. If everything else works then your PSU is most likely dead.
