System Lag and makes wierd noice when gaming and watching videos

I Bought this new HP Envy 15 notebook, when i play games or watch videos on it my System starts to lag and make weird noise

Hi I have the same problem with my computer its a gateway desktop but do you know how to fix it now?

nope i was still under warranty so i got it fixed

mine was a problem with the program hp coolsence.


they did a bios update and uninstalled the program hp coolsence.

try unchecking one program at a time in msconfig / startup and rebooting try if this help remove the problem.

I tried adjusting power settings, but no change.
I turned CoolSense off and this seems to have fixed it. No more lag and wierd noise! Thanks!
