Cloud gaming?

Hi all,

I am given the choice of either buying a macbook air or a gaming pc. We are also getting a smart Tv with Gaikai service. Will the Gaikai suffice for gaming? We have a 16Mb internet speed. Ping varies depending on servers, usually at 130 ping. Should I go for it?

You don't need a gaming computer for cloud gaming, as Onlive works on smart phones. 16mb should be good, I have like 22mb and Onlive works flawlessly.

I wouldn't use Gaikai only for gaming.

Depends what games you want to play. It also depends on if you want this for mostly gaming or something else. If you're looking at newer games and such I'd definitely just build yourself a gaming pc.
