Phenom/M5A99X combo is failing me!

Hello,
I have a new rig that I can't get stable. I've memtested the new memory, changed the HDD, swapped video cards, and reinstalled various OSs. The only thing I can figure is there's something wrong with the Phenom or the Mobo.

I can break it by doing one of two things: Playing Skyrim for about 45 minutes will make the system hang yet the mouse will still work sometimes.
Clicking on too many apps as soon as Windows loads will make the mouse freeze.

I've had to hard reset the system probably 30 times in the last week. Every time I turn the machine on it ends with a hard shut-down.

Here's the specs:
Phenom II 960T BE Zosma stock speed
Rosewill aftermarket heatsink&fan w/ArcticSilver5
Asus M5A99X mobo
Gskill DDR3 PC-12800 stock
Hitachi Desktar 320gb HDD
FSP Blue Storm II 500W psu
XFX GeForce 9600GSO

Thanks for any help guys! :)

Try a different, and better PSU.

It hangs just sitting on the web browser, and the psu was running my old rig without problems.

Update: It just now hung, but the mouse still had movement for about 2 minutes, with none of the screen reacting to mouse-overs or clicks, and no Ctrl-Alt-Delete response. Then the mouse froze. I had just pointed at the edge of a frozen window and the cursor changed to the double-arrow, so Windows is still working in its dying moments.

Just cause it was running your old system fine doesnt mean it isnt failing. Its at least 4 years old, do you think PSUs get better with age? They degrade. Try a different PSU.

Looked up failing PSU symptoms and you're right. I just hope I haven't endangered my new mobo giving it dirty power. :??:

What PSU should I get for these final specs?

Phenom 960T overclocked to ~3.6ghz
4gb Gskill PC12800 DDR3
Asus M5A99X
Nvidia GeForce 560 w/ 1gb
Rosewill Heatsink/Fan
1 Sony DVD drive
1 Hitachi Deskstar 320gb
2 90mm case fans

Seems expensive. Check Corsair 430W.
