Hello,
I am getting a random flashing and i am wondering if it is because my graphics card is not getting the power it needs. I have a new 'EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card. I needs a minimum 500 watts PSU. I have a Rocketfish 500 PSU but maybe it's failing? This is a new problem ..everything was fine until recently. Any ideas?? Here are the specs of my PC :1. AMD Phenom X4 9750 2.4 GHz (HD9750XAJ4BGH) Processor

Welcome to Tom's,
In the future please don't post entire mobo specs, just link to the mobo or give it's model number.

I have some more questions:

Flashing as in the screen goes black momentarily? how often?

-are both 6 pin power cables plugged into the gpu?
-how long has this been happening? how old is it?
-have you tried switching the video ports? (also make sure everything is fitting securely)
-what are your temps?
-which rocketfish psu? Do you have any other PSUs around that you could test with?

ok ..sorry 'bout posting all the specs. I went ahead and installed a new 850 watt PSU and it took care of the flashing. I have a different problem now. My pc crashed and now the new graphics card wont start. Windows is booting up but i get nothing on the screen. I am about to try hooking up to the on board card . Not sure what to do after that though. I wonder if my old problem has anything to do with this problem.
I will check all connections and find out what my temps are if i can. Thanks for responding.

by "windows is booting up" do you mean you only see the window logo before it goes black? If you don't see any logo, how do you know windows is booting? Does the screen display post/bios info?
