what resolution, texture quality, and anti-aliasing do you plan on using? otherwise, just any card will do, just keep tuning down the resolution and quality :p

also, please pose what CPU/motherboard chip set, and power supply you have, as well as how much you're willing to spend/what you have currently to help us give you a better recommendation

well i have an i5 2500k system with an h60 and 16 gigs of mem , but currently a 550ti i was going to sli but one of the 550ti got busted somehow and does not work (they where free so who cares lol) but now that diablo 3 and gw2 are close to release and I want a card that plays those two games on high graphics with at least 40 50 fps ..my current 550 ti is doing a good job with swtor but I cancelled the sub and going back to rift or warhammer online(its free and the new additions seem cool) as soon as my days are over ( not much of a fan of SW , and I really miss my mage on rift). Also I'm planning to buy a SSD later on this fall to house those 2 games (my bro told me that i cant change drives or i will loose windows if i move drives in less that 6 months after installation go figure) ..currently I have a 90 gb ssd for windows and a 500 gb 7500 something rpm cuda hd (got it for 74 bucks at bestbuy) for storage and current games. All inside a well ventilated corsair carbide 500r case and windows 7 (not oem edition) systems rusn cool and almost quiet (its right next to me lol ..if it was under the desk prob the noise will go down to near 0)

did not upload a pic from the inside yet but I did some cable management and it has lots of room for the air to circulate. I did mess the system by getting a cheap asrock gen 3 that does not have usb 3 for the front of the case so they are actually usb2's ..case came with an attachement for this mess luckily ...everything booted ok no complications and the ssd made installing windoes 7 fast ..i got this system up and running in a couple of hours and downloading rift and sw ready for next day.. so far nothing is broken lol ..i should have gone with a higher mobo ..but hey ..all works ok ..

I know 16 gigs of mem is overkill but ..hey ..it was cheap 16 for less than 100 bucks!! had to had them lol .. and the h60 was cheap also 54 minus 25 because of gift card so had to had that also lol and looks better than the 212 thing ..lol ..

wow, that was a lot of info to swallow lol... and I love the corsair 500R, nice looking rig :)

That aside, you forgot to mention how much you're willing to spend on your new video card upgrade. but judging from your other spending choices, I'm guessing the cheapest thing that will get you playable FPS? at the moment I believe a GTX 560ti 448core is your best bet. this MSI card has a nice cooler to boot :)

if you want to spend less, the regular 560ti should still do just fine. here's one from EVGA, lifetime warranty :)

On the AMD side, I believe a 6870 would be minimum, I'd recommend a 7850.
