CPU compatibility

Biostar motherboards are no good, I would avoid at all costs. I've had two of them die within weeks of purchase and RMA process was a nightmare. Especially their super budget models like that one! I'll never buy from them again.

In theory they should be compatible but the original Phenoms weren't that hot either. And I think you need DDR2 memory but I'm 100% on that.

The answer is no. The processor needs 125W, the motherboard can only deliver 95W.
