Which 7850 to buy? or should I wait for the 660?

hey guys i am getting a new gpu and have narrowed it down to either a 7850 or possibly wait for a gtx 660 if its in my price range. i dont want to go any more the then the 260 bucks (285 max with tax and shipping) that the 7850's are currently. my question is with my price range should i get a 7850 or wait for the new 660's?

I will be playing on a 23 inch 1080p monitor and mostly just Skyrim and Battlefield 3

if yal recommend getting a 7850 is there a preference on which one? im between the sapphire and msi. thanks again!

also one other thing, on amazon the 6870's are running around 160 dollars, is the 7850 worth the extra 100 bucks?

I would just get the 7850. Sapphire and MSI are both good, I personally have a Sapphire, cool and quiet.

7850 is the equivalent to the 6950, so yes, I think it's worth it.
  2. Here are few benches,
    Battlefield 3

    Skyrim

The HD 6870 hasn't been benchmarked on that thread, but as you can see, the HD 7850 is much faster than the HD 6870, and it should do well at 1080p for both BF3 and Skyrim.

Both are reputed brands for AMD/ATi cards, so go with either one of them.
  3. I would wait for the 660.
