How to install x86 software on 64 bit system

So far i cant install CSS5, Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2010 and Java too....how am i supposed to deal with that?

  1. Shouldn't be a problem; X86 applications work fine...

    That being said, all three are development tools, which rely on low-level access to HW in some cases, so install the 64-bit versions instead. Development tools are about the only software thats a bit picky when running on 64-bit.

    Unless you have a 16bit installer you should not be having a problem with CSS5 and Visual Studio installs.
    Install the RIGHT Java engine.

    What error messages are you getting when you try the install?
  4. Probably need to install the app as an administrator on windows7.
  5. I'm thinking it's something more sinister.
