Problems...

I just recently built my first computer, everything turns on, runs fine. When I go to plug in a monitor to go through the setups and installations, nothing happens. I plugged the monitor into the graphics card with no change. I can't figure out what is wrong. I took out the graphics card, put it back in, re-wired everything but still nothing. Any suggestions?

can you list some specs of your system? also, have you plugged in all the power connectors and cables? you can try using the intergrated gpu on the cpu and find out the problem in the bios

try running it on the igp through the mainboard first to see if its the gpu(with the gpu removed). if your getting beeps, try running it without a stick of ram

All the cables are connected as far as i can tell. This is my first time dealing with any computer parts and the like. How do i access the bios?

to access bios, its usually the delete button on boot

And I just ran the monitor cord into the motherboard and it still won't come up. No beeps. Even took out the RAM. Nothing

How do I know when to hit delete? The monitor is always black regardless of what I do. this is the first monitor, not the second

if nothing displays on your screen, and the igp and the gpu doesnt work, theres a chance that either something is not wired correctly, or the mobo is a dud

Well dang. I'm guessing it's the mobo because the igp wiggles when i try to plug anything in and the gpu runs fine, with the fan running and everything.
