I have had enough! My old router (DG834 V4) died on me so i bought the netgear DGN1000, which lasted a day, and sent that back because of wireless drop-out and overheating (it burnt my hand!). Now I have a linksys wag120N which is better but i still get drop-out and my connection speed will gradually fall to > 1mbps; and thats when it will connect!
I would have gotten another DG834 but wanted wireless N for its signal strength (thick walls). I have looked everywhere at all of the routers but reviews are random (one says good, another crap), user comments are the same which is making it very hard to chose resulting in me buying 2 bricks.
PLEASE can someone recommend me a router that is stable, doesn't burn toast and is good for medium to high usage; internet and network.
I have 2 desktops (1 wired, 1 wireless N150), 2 wireless G laptops and a wired FreeNas server.
I would like to have wireless N150 (300 will be ok too, i have a n150 card).
Price range up to £50 (will consider more if its good).
