If not please give some improvements that stay under a $1700 budget :)

If you want to go cheaper change the mobo ASRock Extreme4 and the GPU to HD7800 series. An overclocked 7870 should run 60+ and even the 7850 is very playable.

I think your build is pretty solid looks good to me mate the only thing i could think of to save some money is change motherboard to MOBO:ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

http://pcpartpicker.com/mr/pccasegear/asrock-motherboar... I would get the GTX670 and not switch it for 7850 or 7870 but that's just me you could save some money that way though as i am sure you know lol

Just made my personal rig with a $1700 budget (in Australia) with links and all that to where I got the components. Perfect if you live in the Melbourne area as you can just pick the components up rather than ship them. Its as cost effective and powerful as I could make it.

If you want the the GTX670 you could cut out the fans,LED strips and Fan Controller from the build. Its an amazing rig so far.
