I've been given a radeon 4870 and would like to put it in my Inspiron 580. I know my power supply is probably too weak for it, so I wondered what kind of power supply would be needed. More about : upgrades put radeon 4870 dell inspiron 580 mtxpeterson October 17, 2012 12:01:55 AM I would suggest a 480w to 500w psu that has atleast two 6 pin connectors. Dell psu are also tricky so check for the layout and compare. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
